So, the people behind FlashForward are cool. They don't like spoilers either. They're being peppered with questions about what's gonna happen with this, what's gonna happen with that. To all of which, they are being politely, and creatively, evasive. Love it!

Kudos to the producers and cast for doing the right thing here today. They did tell us one tidbit: Many of the questions that were posed in the pilot WILL be answered by the end of the season. Not all, but probably enough to keep us all happy.

I Spy Dominic Monaghan!

Dominic Monaghan is sitting right in front of me on stage!!! Charlie!!! Er, Simon!! (His new character on FlashForward).

He's comparing LOST to FlashForward, noting the similarities: A large ensemble cast, an ambitious story line that's easy to sell internationally. But, he observes, there are distinct differences: "[FlashForward] is not as deeply rooted in a pathology that needs to be solved... It's not as sophisticated in that deeply rich pathology as LOST is."

Monaghan goes on to explain why he is drawn to the new show: "I pick projects based on good scripts. I don’t stipulate between film and tv… For me what happened was I was in Hawaii, read FlashForward and I love the pilot... But I didn’t see a part for me... I didn't want to pretend to be American when I’m from Manchester."

As he says this Sonya Walger (who plays Penny Witmore on LOST) pretends to run in the other direction (she’s British and plays an American in the show.) Ha!

Monaghan goes on to say he wants to try something drastically different than his character Charlie on LOST. I'm at the edge of my seat to find out what that character is!

BTW, we just made eye contact! *I can die now*

Wow, just saw the pilot of FlashForward and, well...Wow! Totally my type of show. It had great action, heartfelt drama and even a splash of humor.

I'm not a fan of spoilers, so I'm not gonna reveal much (Meriah may feel differently). You know the gist of the story. Everyone on the planet has a blackout for a few minutes and they have visions of what they'll be doing six months from now.

Some of the characters are looking forward to their future, others not so much. So, without giving "anything" away, I'll just ask you this: Would you want to know what you're doing six months from now?
