Allen Stone on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

There are some journeys with ABC that are short and then there are others that last for the long run. I met Allen Stone a while back when our director of music, Tony Von Pervieux, brought him in for a showcase. We’ve always loved him over her at ABC and he’s really part of our music family (he even came over just to play at our holiday party one year). It wasn’t until a trip to Seattle last year when I realized how much everyone else loved him too. I was at a friend’s house and looked down on their coffee table, there was Allen staring right back at me on the cover of a magazine. I was like “hey, that’s my friend, I know him!”. I felt so proud in that moment, but today I feel even prouder as Mr. Stone makes his late night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live. You can also see some videos we shot with Allen last year during one of his ABC drive-bys. Enjoy! Oh and did I mention today is Allen Stone’s birthday? Mutemath “ODD SOUL” exclusive stream

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Even though the third full album from Mutemath “ODD SOUL” won’t be out until next Tuesday, we thought it would be nice to have an exclusive listen today on the ABC Music Lounge! You can hear ODD BLOOD in its entirety in our MUTEMATH STREAM and pre-order it on i-Tunes here: "ODD SOUL". Mutemath will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live next Tuesday, October 4th the day their album hits stores. They are also in full swing on their North American tour which will be ending in their hometown of New Orleans. See below for the dates and cities.

Lady Gaga Performs on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Lady Gaga made her late night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2008. Lady Gaga has since been featured on ABC's American Music Awards, Brothers & Sisters, Castle,
and she recently kicked off the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series by zip lining to the stage.

Yesterday, thousands of little monsters waited in Hollywood from morning until dusk to see this five-time Grammy® winner perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Police and news media were hovering in the air and as the Goodyear® blimp cameras zoomed in, the crowd became electrified chanting GAGA GAGA GAGA! Jimmy Kimmel made his introduction announcing her latest single “Yoü and I” from her album Born This Way. I felt a rush as all the "Little Monsters" behind me began to scream and thrust their arms to claw the air for "Mother Monster".

Lady Gaga took the stage in fantastic black glittery metallic outfit that felt inspired by Elvira and steel wool pads—her hair long, straight and platinum blonde. She sat at her black piano and pressed on. The crowd raised their hands energizing her performance. She added a line about Jimmy Kimmel to her song as she fervently played piano, then she kicked away her seat to end with screams and howling I love you’s.

Lady Gaga returned to the Bud Light® stage with her five member band and eight dancers to perform her hit "The Edge of Glory". Lady Gaga's energy was out the roof in this pounding dance extravaganza.

Those fortunate to attend the live performance in Hollywood last night were treated to a special gift as Lady Gaga made a last minute announcement to stay on stage and perform three additional songs for the adoring crowd—I couldn't have been more pleased. It all ended when a dancer lifted Lady Gaga off the stage and she was carried away convulsing violently in his arms. Gaga returned, jumped into Jimmy Kimmel's arms to say good night.

Big Talk's Debut Album Streaming Now

For the first time in ABC Music Lounge history we are streaming a full album in its entirety a week prior to its release.

The self-titled debut album from Big Talk is The Killers' Ronnie Vannucci's first solo project. The Killers drummer has revealed that he drew inspiration from music he listened to in his teen years which included artists like Joe Jackson, The Heartbreakers and The Replacements. Ronnie's favorite track from the album is their single "The Next One Living".

The album was recorded at The Killers’ Battle Born studios in Las Vegas and is scheduled for release on July 19th. The LP was co-produced with Joe Chicarelli (The Strokes, My Morning Jacket), and mixed at London’s Assault & Battery with Alan Moulder (U2, The Killers, Foo Fighters).
