They made that very clear to us during the discussion. The only reason they'll team up with you is so they can turn around and make more money. It's not warm and fuzzy, but it does make sense.<br /></span><br />My favorite quote from the <i>Shark Tank</i> discussion came from shark Robert Herjavec. He says, "There's a fine line between arrogance and confidence."<span style=""> So if you have a great concept, we're thinking these business giants will be your best friends. And this is just a press tour! Imagine trying to impress them with your "million-dollar idea." (I sympathize with show's contestants--they're the toughest audience imaginable.)<br /><br />If this panel is any indicator of the upcoming season, I'm watching--with one eye open, of course. BTW, it premieres tomorrow night!<br /><br />The sharks are explaining why they're on the show, investing their own hard-earned money. <br /><br />One shark, <b>Robert Herjavec</b>, is constantly taking jabs and throwing out amazing one-liners (He's said "I think that is such CRAP" about four times in the past half-hour). He came over on a boat with his parents as a child and is all about the American Dream. On the other hand, shark <b>Kevin O'Leary</b> is all about the bottom line, and has no time to help the underdog.
