O.A.R. on GMA's "Your Three Words"

The band O.A.R. (Of a Revolution) providee the soundtrack to Good Morning America's Your Three Words feature on Saturday.

The band formed in 1996 in Rockville, Md., and released its first album, "The Wanderer," a year later while its members were still in high school. Four of them went to Ohio State University, where they completed their lineup, adding a fifth member their freshman year.

O.A.R had already released three albums by the time its members graduated from college. "King" is their seventh studio effort and will be in stores on Aug. 2. "Heaven" is the first single off that album and the track for this week's Y3W.

Singer and songwriter Marc Roberge says the song "is about living on your own terms and being yourself."

O.A.R. goes on tour this summer, beginning July 6, and is giving away free tickets to five service members for each show. Members of the Armed Forces must enter to win on the band's website.

Raphael Saadiq provides the soundtrack for Good Morning America's "Your Three Words" video this week. The song is "Movin' Down the Line" off his new album "Stone Rollin'."

Saadiq is an award winning singer, songwriter and producer, known for "old school" rhythm and blues who has been featured on ABC's Private Practice and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

He has put his own contemporary spin on the style of music made famous by legends such as Chuck Berry, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Sly Stone.

Saadiq started playing guitar, drums and bass at age 6. After high school, he won a chance to join Prince and Sheila E. on their 1984 world tour.

Beginning in the late '80s, he was lead vocalist and bass player for the R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!. After leaving the group, he recorded singles for the movies "Higher Learning" and "Boyz in the Hood," performed with other groups and in 2002 released his first solo album, "Instant Vintage."

Saadiq is also an accomplished producer, with credits on albums by artists including Macy Gray, TLC and the Roots. Other notable artists he's worked with as either producer, collaborator or sideman include Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, the Bee Gees and Earth Wind & Fire.

"Stone Rollin'" is his fourth studio album and was released in May. It debuted as the No. 1 R&B album on Billboard's Top 200 album chart.

Darius Rucker on GMA's "Your Three Words"

As the frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish, Darius Rucker was one of the most popular frontmen in mainstream pop/rock during the mid-'90s. In 2008 he turned his solo career towards country music releasing the album Learn to Live. Both the album and the single "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" went straight to the top of the Billboard country charts. The album hit platinum status within a year. His latest album Charleston, SC 1966 was released in the Fall of 2010. The first single from this album "Come Back Song" is his fourth song to hit number one on the country music charts.

Darius took the stage during 2010's CMA Music Festival to perform Prince's "Purple Rain". He made two appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2010. Once to perform "Come Back Song" and "This" and again to perform "Candy Cane Christmas".

Los Angeles based trio (Mark Foster, Cubbie Fink and Mark Pontius), Foster The People, will celebrate the release of Torches with a top 10 chart debut this week. The band, whose single “Pumped Up Kicks” is currently # 2 on the alternative charts, will mark the success of their full-length, debut with over 33,000 albums sold in it’s first week. On May 23rd the band made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in support of Torches, which critics are calling the “album of the summer.” The episode will re-air Monday June 6th at Midnight.

Oh Land on GMA's Your Three Words

Last night was the season 12 finale of Dancing with the Stars. The finale was down to Hines Ward, Kirstie Alley and Chelsea Kane. Four-time Pro Bowler, three-time Super Bowl participant, two-time Super Bowl champ, and the Super Bowl XL MVP is now adding Dancing with the Stars Champion to his impressive resume. The cast is featured in today's Good Morning America "Your Three Words" feature.

Oh Land provides the soundtrack to today's Y3W, with the song "Turn It Up" off her self titled album "Oh Land". Singer and producer Nanna Øland Fabricius is the crafter of Oh Land's music. She is a disciplined ballet dancer who was educated with the Royal Danish and Royal Swedish Ballet schools coupled with a "circus-like" upbringing courtesy of a family of creative souls. This upbringing has had a great impact on her performance style which confronts the audience with elements as sonically and visually diverse as drum pads, an omnichord, and a front projector system that broadcasts homemade visuals across balloons. Lucy Schwartz on GMA's Your Three Words

Each week ABC's Good Morning America features a segment called "Your Three Words". Users submit their own home videos with a message using only three words. GMA's Your Three Words videos have featured artists such as Darius Rucker, Robyn, Esperanza Spaulding, KT Tunstall, Seal and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

On Saturday Lucy Schwartz provided the soundtrack to the week's Y3W, with the song "My Darling" off her new album "Life in Letters." If you don't know the name, you may know some of the 20-year-old singer-songwriter's work. Lucy wrote and performed the theme to "Shrek Forever After" and performed it on late-night television with co-writer Landon Pigg. She's also written songs for several movies and has had her music featured in more than a dozen television shows, including ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" and "Brothers and Sisters".

"Life in Letters" is her second full-length album. Her first, titled "Winter in June" was released when she was just 16 years old. Lucy recorded "Life in Letters" with producer Mitchell Froom, who has also worked with Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello and Suzanne Vega. She says there was a lot of experimentation in creating the album, which was recorded at Froom's home studio in Los Angeles.
